Given that,

Distance = 1.5 m  in north

Suppose, Current = 50 A

The current is flowing from East to West.

We need to calculate the magnetic field at point 1.5 m north

Using formula of magnetic field

B=\dfrac{\mu_{0}I}{4\pi r}

Where, I = current

r = distance

Put the value into the formula

B=\dfrac{4\pi\times10^{-7}\times50}{2\pi\times1.5}

B=0.0000066\ T

B=6.6\times10^{-6}\ T

So, The according to Maxwell’s right hand thumb rule, the direction of the magnetic field is towards the North.

Hence, The magnetic field is 6.6\times10^{-6}\ T.

The magnetic field of the line is in north direction.

Answer:

Vertically downward direction (inside the plane of paper)

Explanation:

Current is flowing from the direction of east to west so, by applying right hand thumb rule at a point in north direction the net tangent at that point will be downward↓
