Answer:

Given:

An overhead water tanker is in the shape of a cylinder has a capacity of 61.6 cu.mts.

The diameter of the tank is 5.6m

To find:

The height of the tank

Solution:

The capacity of the tanker = Volume of the cylindrical tanker = 61.6 m³

The diameter of the tank = 5.6 m

∴ The radius of the tank =

Let's assume "h" meters as the height of the cylindrical tank.

the height if cylinder tank is 2.5m

We know the formula of the volume of a cylinder is given as:

volume of a cylinder =πr²h

Now, substituting the given values in the formula above,

61.6 =27/7 ×(2.8)×h

=61.6=22×0.4×2.8×h

=h=61.6/24.64=2.5

=h=2.5

Thus, the height of the cylindrical tank is → 2.5 m.
