It is mentioned in question that oxide contains its own volume of nitrogen i.e

1 molecule of oxide= 1 molecule of nitrogen.

So with this we get empirical formula (N2O)

molecular weight = 2 × 38 = 76

we can write that molecular weight of N2Ox is 76

so 28 + 16x = 76

16x = 48

x = 3

so the molecular formula comes out to be N2O3.
