These days they're not like the cytoplasms I remember from my youth - most just want a passport to big pay cheques and skive off through the majority of their further education, then live out their days from one therapist appointment to the next as work shy mitochondriacs....According to Wikipedia's opening line;The cytoplasm is the part of a cell that is enclosed within the cell membrane.I recollect cells, in this context [like not batteries or prisons], are component aspects of living tissue - and whether plant or animal, that's part of a food chain.
