An umbrella is made by stitching ten triangular pieces of cloth, each measuring 60 cm,
60 cm and 20 cm. Find the area of the cloth required for the umbrella.

Here is your answer.

Given Data,

Ten triangular pieces of cloth each measuring 60cm , 60cm , 20cm

We know that,

           S = Perimeter/2

Here we need to Heron's Formula:-

            →   √s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)

            → 60 + 60 + 20/2 

            → 140/2 = 70

Now,  √70 × (10)² × 50 

    = √35 × 10 × 10 × 10 × 10

Area of 10 pieces = 100√35

  = 1000√35  AREA OF REQUIRED CLOTH
