50  \times 12 = 600 \\ 20 \times 12 = 240 \\ 50 \times 12 = 600 \\  \\ 600 + 240 + 600 = 1440

 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

STEP 1: Find the area of 1 triangle:

Area = √p(p-a)(p-b)(p-c)

p = (50 + 20 + 50) ÷ 2 = 60

Area = √60(60-50)(60-20)(60-50)

Area = √240,000

Area = 489.9 cm²

..............................................................................................

STEP 2: Find area of the umbrella

1 triangle = 489.9 cm²

12 triangles = 12 x 489.9

12 triangles = 5879 cm²

..............................................................................................

Answer: The area of the umbrella is 5879 cm²

..............................................................................................

 \textbf {Cheers}
