When sadako was 12 she was diagonsed with leukemia, the doctors had told that it was due to the radiation caused by the nuclear bombing, as she was fighting the terror of death,She came across a superstition that if anyone can fold a thousand paper cranes their wish will instantly be granted, so she threw herself in the task of folding a thousand paper cranes,
Even though she passed away she is still remembered by all because of her positivty, she gave herself the hope of surviving 'the terror of death' . We can thus say that an unexpected illness cannot only if the person remains positive throughout their life.
