An unidentified substance, Z, was thought to be one of the following three substances. Substance А B С Melting point/°C 132 133 134 respectively.Z was mixed with each of the above substances and the melting point of each mixture was determined. The following results were obtained. Mixture Z + A,Z + B,Z + C Melting point/c 114-129 132-133 86-89 respectively. Deduce the identity of Z. Explain your answer.​

Answer: The Identity of Z is "Substance B"

Explanation: When a mixture of Z and substance B was made there was little to no change in the melting point and substance B kept its identity, meaning the added substance wasn't and impurity and it is the same.
