Given Info :-

  • An unloaded truck of mass, m = 2000 kg moves with a maximum acceleration of a = 0.5 m/s²

Explanation :-

We are asked to find –

  • Maximum acceleration when it is carrying a load of 2000 Kg

Let's find the force applied by the truck while moving unloaded using formula –

\purple{\bigstar \; {\underline{\boxed{\bf{  Force  = Mass \times Acceleration  }}}}}

\longrightarrow \sf Force = m \times  a  \\

\longrightarrow \sf   Force = 2000 \times  0.5\\

\longrightarrow \bf{\pink{\underline{\underline   Force = 1000\: N}}}\\

According to do question –

  • m + 2000 ⇒ 4000 Kg

Now, Let us find the maximum acceleration produced–

\purple{\bigstar \; {\underline{\boxed{\bf{  Force  = Mass \times Acceleration  }}}}}

\longrightarrow \sf 1000 = 4000 \times A \\

\longrightarrow \sf  A =\dfrac{ 1000}{4000}\\

\longrightarrow \sf   A = \cancel{\dfrac{ 1}{4}}\\

\longrightarrow \bf{\pink{\underline{\underline   Acceleration  = 0.25\: m/s²}}}\\

Hence, Acceleration produced = 0.25 m/s²
