On my 18th birthday, my friends decided to give me a common gift, which was bought by all of them together. They have been going on and on the whole week prior to my birthday about how it is very unique and it has to be the only gift that suits me. They bragged that they have found the perfect gift and that I have to have it.
When finally I open the gift, I was very confused as it was just a metal pipe and curved in a weird fashion. . I looked at it all night long but couldn't figure out the purpose. In the morning, while getting ready, it suddenly struck me!
It must be a clue to a treasure hunt!
I spent the next week running around like a headless chicken but no other clue was to be found. Then I broke down as asked them what that metal pipe was. They all burst out in a fit of laughter. After 15 minutes of belly-aching laugh, they told me it was a scrap piece of metal.
They played a prank on me and I made a fool out of myself.
