It is true that, an unvisited link is underlined and blue.

• There are two types of links, 1) Visited link & 2) Unvisited link.
• There are visual differences in a visited link and unvisited link. This visual differences are created for easy remembering process that which links are already visited, without necessity of manually visiting the link again.
• A visited link is blue in colour and underlined (underlined when the cursor is above the link but not clicked.)
• After clicking on that link, that blue link becomes purple and underlined, suggesting that this particular link is already visited.
