Two factors determining the climate of India are:

• Monsoon Break:

The most dominating factor of the Indian climate is the ‘monsoon winds’ which are often called the monsoon climate.

The reversal of the monsoon winds brings a sudden change in the seasons, such as the summer season suddenly turns into monsoon or rainy season.

Li Nina:

After an El-Nino, the weather conditions in India return to normal.

However, sometimes trade winds become so strong and can cause abnormal accumulation of cold water in the Pacific region.

This event is called La Nina, which is opposite to the event called El Nino.
