Answer____

Agriculture is the foundation of Indian society. Agriculture makes India what it is, not IT and English. The “Indian culture” that the world knows about is mostly preserved by the agriculture community and is passed over from generation to generation. This is not the case in America. In America agriculture is more of an “industry”. Cultivators own 100’s of acres of land that is simply a source of income. Indian farmers own small parcel of land. They treat their land as sacred. They treat their cattle like household members, just like Americans would treat a dog.
