Nomitha, the central character of the story is a typical Indian women who is destined a life of mental conflict. Her husband Ajith belongs to a wealthy family that resists in a three storied house. As the life partner to such a rich husband, she wants to lead a life of self respect and dignity. But her mother won't let her live so. Time to time her mother sends her letters seeking financial help. Here arises the mental conflict. One day goes to the extend of asking herself why her mother keeps on begging like this. Ajith does not like this and he insults Nomitha with harsh words though she loves her husband, she does not tolerate such insults . So one day when there forms a quarrel, she calls him a common vulgar man. Nomitha outspoken by nature and hence no one attack her outright to her face. But instead they pinch her with sharp words. Nomitha cannot tolerate this too. Once when her bro-wife makes a common comment , Nomitha laughs a laugh that can bring a attractive flush to a white face.
