Mughals relationship with foreign countries was good because they aimed to safeguard India from its enemies. Mughals had a foreign policy which aimed at increasing business with their neighbouring countries.
As we know the main part of Mughals was Central Asia but they want to maintain balance between Turkey and SAFaids and Uzbeks.
Aurangzeb maintained friendly relations with Uzbeks so sometimes he exchange gifts and there was a good relationship between Persia and Mughal rulers due to Kandhar land.
