No both the changes are not same.

1... It is physical and reversible change because after heating it changes into liquid state and when left it for sometime it again changes to wax.

2... It has physical( include reversible change), chemical change(include irreversible change)

because when candle is lighted some of it wax is used to produce heat energy and it produces other products like carbon dioxide which are irreversible.

And some of it only melt and after sometime it again changes to wax which is reversible change
