This graph shows the number of nuclear warheads owned by USA and USSR at different times. in 1955 USA had 5000 and USSR had 0. USSR nuclear programme begins in 2-3 years after 1955. In 1965 USSR had somewhere between 5000-10000. whereas USA reached its peak with somewhere between 35000-40000. USSR saw a huge enlargement of its graph between 65-75. In 1975 USA and USSR both had near about 25000 warheads. Russia saw its peak in 1985 with 42000-43000 warheads. When the number for USA was decreased to below 25000. Till the number remains decreasing for both of the countries. But USSR has an edge over USA.
