1.As novel became popular it also began writing in south India.

2.Author like O Chandu Menon began translating a novel "Henrietta temple".Which was written by Benjamin Disraeli.

3.But soon he realized that people's were unknown about the lifestyle of foreigners.

4.So he decide to write novel in Malayalam which was easier understandable for people.

5.His novel name was Indulekha. This novel was the first modern novel written in Malayalam
