India is a country with a rich history. Civilization has thrived in India for ages. India’s history dates back to several centuries ago. It is widely agreed that Indian culture and tradition is at least 10,000 years old.

There are some chronological disputes in India upon ay historical events and personalities. For example, Adi Sankara’s is said to have lived around 7th century CE by a section of historians, while some others historians are of the view that he was born before 2000 BCE. There are also some disputes with the birth and death of Buddha, the reign of Vikramaditya etc.

In fact, more research has to be done to establish and re-establish the facts of Indian history in a more reliable way.

Thus to provide an authentic information of Indian history, it becomes very much necessary for cross checking of source material to reconstruct ancient Indian history.
