Popularly known as Akbar the great (Akbar I Azam ) ,शहंशाह अकबर,सम्राट अकबर , was the third Mughal Emperor who reigned from 1556–1605. He defeated Hemu of sur empire in Second battle of Panipat and sat on the Throne of Delhi at age of 14 ,but he made his ruling capital at Agra . Under regent bairam kha started expanding mughal domains in India. A strong personality and successful general ,Emperor Akbar expanded the Mughal Empire to include nearly all Indian Subcontinent .His power and influence, however extended all over India because of mughal military, political culture and economic dominance. Shahenshah Akbar established Mansabdari system all over his empire and adopted a policy of conciliting conquered rulers through marriage and diplomacy. He abolished Slavery, Pilgrimage tax and Jizya Tax on Hindus. Akbar was first मुगल बादशाह to win hindu subjects. During his reign Hindus were appointed to high positions in imperial court.
