The rock Sheltar @ Bhimbethka is significant coz it gives us an insight into the lives of a prehistoric people.The paintings in the Sheltar depict stick-figure of humans chasing and hunting of the animals. Some paintings show young and old people dancing and performing rituals, this gives us clue about the lifestyle of the people.
