Consumer exploitation means cheating the consumers in the market place. This is because the shopkeepers are very few but consumers are many but scattered. Some examples of exploiting consumers at the market are selling adultrated products , products exceeding the expiry dates, selling at high prices. Many times the shopkeepers simply blame the consumers or refuse to agree the truth that they did not sell a particular item to a person.
