With the development of society , the scope of rights has also expanded. One may give the following examples:

a. Right to freedom of press.

b. Right to information.

c. Right to education have been derived from the set of legal fundamental rights given to us like right to freedom of speech and expression.

d. One can also give example, right to lead a dignified life , right to speedy trial which is derived from right to life and personal liberty. Judiciary through its various verdicts and interpretation have expanded its scope.

e. International covenant on social, economic and cultural right has also expanded the scope of rights, these include right to work, right to healthy working conditions etc.
