• A new set of problems confronted tissues at the turn of the '19th century'. When cotton industry in England has grown, Indian cotton weavers have faced two problems–their export markets have plummeted and the local market has shrunk with British products inundated.
• Indian handcrafted products could not compete with British fine machinery. They had a new difficulty by 1860. After the American world war, they could not get enough raw cotton that was sent to England for their factories. Raw cotton prices were rising.
• The weavers had difficulty surviving.and Indian weavers were compelled to buy raw cotton at high prices. They couldn't pay most of the time. By the end of the 19th  century, Indian weavers were once again struck by the fact that textile mills had established themselves in India, which was flooding with machinery.
