Explanation:

The given line graph illustrates the population figures for India and China since the year 2000 and predicted population growth up to the year 2050.

The purple line indicates the population of India whereas the pink line indicates China's population. It can be seen in the graph for the year 2000 that India's population figure was 1.0 whereas on the other hand, China's population figure was in between 1.2 and 1.3. From there on, India's population kept increasing but China's population increased and decreased also. In the year 2050, China's predicted population figure would be 1.4 and India's predicted population figure would be 1.6. It can also be seen from the graph that in between the years 2030 and 2040, China's and India's population figure would be the same, i.e. in between 1.4 and 1.5. Overall, it can be concluded that India's and China's population had been very unstable in the years 2000 to 2020 and could be the same in the coming  years as well.
