While the Mughal empire did not care as much about their land, the Qing dynasty was ready for war to protect their land. They were willing to fight their own neighboring countries for land for agriculture uses.
Rulers
The Qing Dynasty would elect their leaders while the Mughal Empire was restricted to only one family and the kingdom used to passed down from father to son. Example - Babur to Akbar. Leaders were blood related.
