Some of the traditional practices which were dynamic are not practised now. This included the practices of Sati, Dowry, Widow Isolation, etc . Due to social reforms by reformers like Raja Rammohan Roy, Dayanand Saraswati, etc. and by government policies these practises are now abolished and prohibited.
