Answer:

Explanation:

Each age has its own joys and challenges. We are here comparing the privileges or advantages of a modern child with his parents when they were children.

Undoubtedly, a modern child enjoys better education facilities as compared to his parents when they were children. The schools have more advanced facilities than those in the past. Even at home the modern child lives a more luxurious life as compared to the life his parents lived as children.

However, there are many disadvantages of modern living as well. We can say the modern child can’t enjoy some of the privileges that his parents enjoyed when they were children.

Actually, the lack of facilities in the past was a blessing in disguise for children in the past. Most of the children in the past had to face hardships; these hardships brought the best out of them and made them successful. On the other hand, modern children live in luxuries, which has affected their health adversely.

In the past there were not so many TVs. Here were no mobile phones and computers. Hence, the children spent most of their free time playing outdoor games and fun activities such as flying kites. Outdoor activities kept them healthy and strong. The modern children remain glued to the screen of their TV or mobile phones. This affects their health adversely.

In conclusion it can be said that though children in the past didn’t have so many facilities, yet they enjoyed a quality and healthier life.
