An isoceles triangle has a perimeter of 54 cm. If the measure of unequal side is 21 cm, what will be the measure of each of the equal sides?

Answer :-

Let the equal sides of isoceles traingle be x

Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides of triangle

Sides of triangle = x , x and 21

So,

⇒ x + x + 21 = 54

⇒ 2x + 21 = 54

⇒ 2x = 54 - 21

⇒ 2x = 33

⇒ x = 33 / 2

⇒ x = 16.5

Measure of each equal side = 16.5 cm
