Answer:

The ramp on a railway station has a rough surface to increase friction so that we do not slip while walking on it. If the surface is smooth, then the frictional force between the ramp and the feet becomes less and the chances of slipping are greater.

Unlike stars, planets do not experience nuclear fusion, the process of combining tiny particles called atoms to release energy. Nuclear fusion creates radiation (heat and light) and makes stars glow. Because planets do not have nuclear fusion, they do not produce their own light.

35--Because they dont emit their own light. They can reflect light, which will illuminate them. But they can't product that light on their own. That is why it gets dark during a total eclipse. If the moon was luminous, then when blocking the suns light, it would be providing it's own light. That's what luminous means.
