Heya Mate..!

In traingle DCF...

Angle DFA = 110°

By exterior angle sum property...

Angle x + angle y = angle DFA

Angle X + Angle Y = 110°.......................(i)

And....

Angle DFC + Angle DFA = 180°

Angle DFC + 110° = 180°

Angle DFC = 180° - 110°

Angle DFC = 70°........................(ii)

Now......

In traingle BDE

Angle B + Angle D + Angle E = 180°

40° + X + 90° = 180°

X + 130° = 180°

X = 180° - 130°

X = 50°........................(iii)

Now..... Equating all these equations...

In Triangle CDF...

Angle X + angle Y + Angle DFC = 180°

50° + Angle Y + 70° = 180°

Angle Y + 120° = 180°

Angle Y = 180° - 120°

Angle Y = 60°

So.... Here are the Values...

X = 50° &

Y = 60°
