Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

Two numbers = 3 and 4

To find:-

Find six rational numbers between 3 and 4.

Solution:-

Given two numbers are 3 and 4

Required rational numbers = 6

Write the denominator as 6+1 = 7

Now

3 = 3×(7/7)

=> (3×7)/7

=>3= 21/7

and

4=4×(7/7)

=> (4×7)/7

=> 4 = 28/7

Now the rational numbers between them are

22/7; 23/7; 24/7; 25/7; 26/7; 27/7

3=21/7< 22/7<23/7<24/7<25/7<26/7<27/7<28/7=4

Answer:-

The 6 rational numbers between 3 and 4 are

22/7; 23/7; 24/7; 25/7; 26/7; 27/7

Used formulae:-

  • We can find infinite number of many rational numbers between two given numbers by Dense Property.

  • We use mean method for finding rational numbers between the two numbers.

  • a and b are two numbers then the rational number between them is (a+b)/2
