This poem is written by Robert Frost, called as "Dust of Snow."
The figure of speech in this particular line is, Alliteration. It means the words that have the same first letter. Here, saved and some have the same letter "s".
The inner meaning of this line is, the poet seemed to have a really bad day. But his outlook on it soon changed when a black crow shook down some dust of snow, from a hemlock tree; upon the poet. This small act, saved the poet from wasting the last hours of his depressive day.
