Given:

Money saved by Andrew = 1/4

Money saved by Bashir = 2/5

Money saved by Candy = 1/10

To Find:

The fraction cost left to pay for the party

Solution:

According to the question -

1 - 1/10 - 2/5 - 1/4

= 1/1 - 1/10 - 2/5 - 1/4

Thus, solving -

20/20 - 2/20 - 8/20 - 5/20

Writing the numerator over common denominator -

= 20 - 2 - 8 - 5/20

= 18 - 13/20

= 5/20

= 1/4

Answer: The fraction cost left to pay for the party is 1/4.
