Answer:

original amount- sold amount/ original amount×100

6500 -5500/6500× 100

1000/65= 15.38%

Cost price of bicycle = 6500

Selling price of bicycle = 5500

As CP > SP there is loss

Loss = CP-SP

=6500-5500

= 1000

Loss percentage = loss/CP × 100

= 1000/6500 × 100

= 15.38%
