We know that 1 mile = 5,280 feet.

Given that Aneesha travels at a rate of 50 miles per hour.

= > (50 * 5280)/(60 * 60)

= > 73.3333 feet per second.

Now,

Morris is Travelling 3 feet per second less than Aneesha.

=> Speed of Morris = 73.3333 - 3

                                 = 70.3333 feet per second

                                 = 70.3333 * 0.681818 miles per hour

                                 = 47.9 miles per hour

                                 = ~ 48 miles per hour.

Therefore, Morris is travelling 48 miles per hour.

Hope this helps!

3 feet/second

= 3 feet/second x 60 seconds/minute x 60 minutes/hour

3 x (60 x 60) = 3 x 3600 which is slightly more than that 10,000

So 3 feet/second is slightly more than 10,000 feet/hour

we know that there are 5,280 feet in a mile

we will round this figure to 5,000 feet per mile

The estimated speed difference is

10,000 feet/hour /5,000 feet/mile

this will be equal to 2 miles/hour

With this we can make an estimate that Morris is travelling with around 2 miles/hour  and Aneesha is given 60 miles/hour or maybe around 58 miles/hour

So difference between 60 miles/hour  vs 58 miles/hour will give a value of around 2.933 feet per second which is approximately closer to 3 feet per second.
