‘Anemophily’ occurs in grass.

Answer: Option (ii)

Explanation:

Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the pistil of either the same flower or of different flowers. There are many agents of pollination. When wind is an agent of pollination the process is called ‘anemophily’.

Anemophily occurs in plants with small or inconspicuous flowers that can be easily pollinated through the wind. Vallisneria and coconut are mostly pollinated by water and datura is pollinated by insects. Grass is the only plant to be pollinated by the wind. Hence anemophily occurs only in grass.
