Opposite angles of a parallelogram / Quadrilateral are congurent

therefore , ∆CAD is congurent ∆BCA

therefore, ∆B = ∆D

BC = AD (Given)

< BCA = < DAC ( Alternate Angles)

AC=CA (Common Side)

Therefore, Triangle CAD is congruent to Triangle BCA ( By SAS Congruence Criterian rule)

( ii) Soln:

Firstly, <C + <B =180 Degrees (Co interior angles)

<C= 180- <B =(180 - 80) degrees = 100 degrees.

<C = < D =100 degrees ( Corresponding angles)

Therefore Angle D is 100 degrees.

(iii) Soln:

Yes. Because these are the opposite sides of the IIgram which are always parallel.
