Solution:
Note:
if length is 8 cm then 2 plants at corners
8/8 + 1 = 2 plants
if length is 16 cm then 2 plants at corners and one at center
16/8 + 1 = 3 plants
Hence number of plants = length/8 + 1
Length = 12m = 1200 cm
plants can be planted = 1200/8 + 1
= 150 + 1
= 151
