Answer:Let the top part be called part A, middle portion be called part B and uppermost part be called part C

Let base radius=X cm

height.= 6 cm

Volume of the whole cone(parts A+B+C) =⅓πR²x6=2πR² cm³

radius of cone at a height of 1 from base=(5/6)R

Height of cone after part C is cut =5 cm

Hence volume of parts A +B==⅓π(5R/6)²x5=(125/108)πR² cm³

Height of cone after part B is cut =2 cm

radius of cone at a height of 4 from base=(2/6)R

Hence volume of parts A =⅓π(2R/6)²x2=(2/27)πR² cm³

Hence volume of part C=2πR²-(125/108)πR²=(91/108)πR² cm³

Hence volume of part B=(125/108)πR²-(2/27)πR²

=(121/108)πR² cm³

Hence Rati … (more)
