Angiosperms  are called so because from the name, ANGIO means covered and then SPERMA means seed so put together it means covered seed.
They are flowering plants in which seeds are enclosed in fruits. There seeds develop within the surrounding layer of the plant tissue called the CARPEL, with seeds attached around the margins.
