monocots n dicots division/phylum angiouspermae is sometimes called division anthophyta because the common name of this group is flowering plants angiosperm are so name bcoz the seeds r enclosed within a fruit of some sort...Ex:magnolia trees,roses,tulips n tomatoes... hope it helps......plz mark as brainliest****

The plants which can flower and produce fruit in which the seeds are present inside the fruit and not visible outside the fruit is known as Angiosperms.Angio means inside and sperms means seeds here .so the name is Angiosperms. This is in the classification of plantae kingdom.
