Angiosperms, also called flowering plants, have seeds that are enclosed within an ovary (usually a fruit), while gymnosperms have no flowers or fruits, and have unenclosed or “naked” seeds on the surface of scales or leaves.
Gymnosperm seeds are often configured as cones.

Angiosperms are flower bearing plants. I believe the word Angiosperm means outside seed, or something like that. Their seeds are, obviously, on the outside.
Gymnosperms are things like pine trees and acorn trees. They're seeds are encased. Gymnosperm means enclosed seed.
Angiosperms are mostly lower or smaller, growing at the ground. Gymnosperms grow taller and broader.
