A and B are complementary angles.
So their sum is 90 degree.

A=50

B=x

A+B=90

B=90 -50

B=40 degree

B and C are supplementary angles .
So their sum is 180 degree.

B+C =180

B = 40

C =180 -40

C =140 degree

Given that,

A+B = 90   ---------(1)

B+C = 180 ----------(2) and

A = 50

SOLUTION :

Consider equation No. 1

A + B = 90

(Substituting A value)

B = 90 - 50

B = 40 ---------(3)

Now consider equation No. 2

B + C = 180

(Substituting (3) in equation no.2)

40 + C = 180

C = 180 - 40

C = 140

It can't get more detailed than this.....Mark as brainiest if you like it..
