Solution -

Given :

A triangle ABC is right angled at vertice A and the measurement of AB and AC are 3 cm and 4 cm .

To find :

The measurement of Side BC

Answer :

This question can be solved using Pythagoras theorem ,

Proceeding further ,

(BC)² = (AC)² + (AB)²

(BC)² = 4² + 3²

(BC) = 16 + 9

(BC) = 25

Therefore concluding the length of the side BC in the given triangle ABC is 25 cm

Knowing what is Pythagoras theorem !!

Pythagoras theorem states that the square of the Hypotenuse of a triangle would always be equal to the sum of square of both the legs / other sides in a right angled triangle

Hypotenuse is the side that is opposite to the angle of 90° and rest both sides are called legs in geometry
