Hi ,
angle AOC= a
angle COB = b
according to the problem given,
a and b are linear pair .
a + b = 180° -----( 1 )
a - b = 20°--------( 2 )
add equations ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) , we get
2a = 200
a = 200 / 2
a = 100°
put a = 100° in equation ( 1 ) , we get
100° + b = 180
b = 180° - 100°
b = 80°
Therefore ,
a = 100°
b = 80°
I hope this helps you

a+b=100(linear pair) - 1
a-b=20(given)-2
from 1 and 2
2a=200
i.e.a=100(by dividing 100÷2)
putting the value of a in first equation:
100+b=180
b=80(by subtracting 180-100)
a=100
b=80
I hope it helped you!!!
