Answer:

a + b = 90 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

angle BAC = a ; angle OBC = b

2 (angle BAC ) = angle BOC ( angle subtended on the centre by a chord is                 double to the angle subtended by the same chord at the circumference )

So , angle BOC = 2a

In triangle OBC

OB = OC (radii of the circle)

Therefore ,

angle OBC =angle OCB

So angle OCB = b

In triangle OBC

Angle OBC + Angle OCB + Angle OBC = 180 (angle sum property )

2a + 2b = 180

Therefore ,

a+b=90 degree ANS

Hope it helped
