Given that:-

\large\rm { \angle i = 45^{\circ}}

\large\rm{ ^{a} u_{g} = 1.5}

To find:-

\large\rm { \angle r}

Formula used:-

\large\rm{ ^{a} u_{g} = \frac{ \sin \ i}{ \sin \ r}}

Solution:-

\large\rm{ ^{a} u_{g} = 1.5}

\large\rm{ ^{a} u_{g} = \frac{ \sin \ i}{ \sin \ r}}

\large\rm{ \therefore \sin \ r = \frac{ \sin \ i}{^{a} u_{g}}}

\large\rm { = \frac{ \sin 45}{1.52}}

\large\rm{ = \frac{0.709}{1.52}}

\large\rm{ = 0.46}

\huge{\boxed{\rm { \angle r = \sin ^{-1} 0.46}}}
