Angle PQR is an isosceles triangle with PQ= PR find the other two angles if angle R= 50°

Answer:

In a isoceles triangle,two sides are equal.

hence PQ=PR

Given,∆R=50°

let the other two sides be x and x.

In a triangle ,sum of the three sides is 180°.

Therefore,

PQ+PR+R°=180°

x+x+50°=180

2x+50°=180°

2x=180°-50°

2x=130°

x=130°/2

x=65°

Therefore other two angles are 65° and 65°.
