angular sheet of metal 44 cm long and 20 CM broad is rolled along its length into a right circular cylinder so that the cylinder has 20 CM as its height find the volume and curved surface area or of the cylinder so formed​

Height of the cylinder = 20 cm,

then, circumference of the cylinder= Length of the rectangle= 44 cm,

so, 2π r = 44 cm,

then, r= 44*7/22*2,

r= 7 cm.

Then, curved area= 2π r* h ,

= circumference* height,

=44*20,

= 880 cm².

And Volume of the cylinder= π r²h =

 \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \times 7 \times 20 \\  = 154 \times 20 \\  = 3080 \:    {cm}^{2}
